What level do I need to be to join surf lessons?
All levels are welcome! Our surf lessons are tailored from complete beginners (never touched a surfboard) to advanced surfers wanting to refine technique. We have separate groups based on skill level, with maximum 6 students per instructor to ensure personalized attention.
What should I bring to KAZA Wave?
All surf equipment is provided (surfboard, wetsuit, leash, wax). You should bring: swimwear, sunscreen SPF 50+ (sun is strong!), beach towel, comfortable casual clothing, light jacket for evenings, reef-safe toiletries, and your adventurous spirit!
How do I get to Imsouane from the airport?
The closest airport is Essaouira (ESU), 95 km away (1h30 drive). Agadir (AGA) is also nearby at 100 km (2 hours drive). We offer convenient airport transfers from both airports for €60 per person return. Simply provide your flight details, and we'll arrange pickup. You can also take a taxi or rent a car.
When is the best time to visit for surfing?
Imsouane offers year-round surfing! September-April: Bigger swells, more powerful waves (best for intermediate/advanced). May-August: Smaller, gentler waves perfect for beginners. Water temp: 17-22°C year-round. Air temp: 20-28°C. We have 300+ surfable days per year - there's never a bad time!
Is Imsouane crowded like other surf spots?
Not at all! Unlike popular European spots, Imsouane remains relatively uncrowded. Even during peak season (October-March), you'll find plenty of space on the waves. The Bay can accommodate dozens of surfers comfortably thanks to its 800-meter length.
Can I work remotely from KAZA Wave?
Absolutely! We're very popular with digital nomads. Our 94 Mbps fiber WiFi is the fastest in Imsouane - perfect for video calls, uploads, and remote work. We have quiet work spaces, and our Stay & Flex package is designed specifically for working travelers who want surf + work balance.
